We are open Monday - Friday's 5:30 am - 9:00 pm. Saturday's 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. Sunday's 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The student semester rates will start on August 16th at $165.00

Samantha received her Group Fitness Certification through AFAA and joined the East Coast team in 2018 to teach cardio, strength and HIIT classes. She took her first group exercise class in 2013 and has been hooked ever since! While attending West Chester University, she studied and taught many styles of dance and likes to incorporate creativity into her fitness classes.

As a stay at home mom, Samantha spends most of her time chasing her two kids, running with her husband and cheering for Penn State!

Kathy O'Shea

Kathy O'Shea

Kathy presently teaches the Fit and Over 50 Class, Soothing Stretch, and Spinning.   In addition to being a STAR 3 Certified SPIN instructor and a certified Silver and Fit instructor, Kathy is also a licensed registered nurse, with a BS from Albright College, graduate work at Texas Women’s University, and School Nurse Certification from Slippery Rock University.  Kathy’s nursing experience includes gerontology, oncology, critical care, cardiac rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics.

Currently, Kathy’s full time job is a school nurse with the State College Area School District, where she also serves on the District’s Wellness Committee and is a Wellness Advocate. Being passionate about heart health, Kathy is an American Heart Association Basic Life Support/Heart Saver/First Aid Instructor.Kathy is a wife, mother of 2 grown daughters, and has an aging white standard poodle.  Being a hippie hangover, she loves all genres of music, enjoys the yearly trek with her daughters to Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park, movies, theater, reality TV, sports, reading, traveling and relaxing.

Corinna Lyncha holds Group Fitness Certifications from ACE, Star 3 Spinning Instructor, Bender Barre Method, Tabata Bootcamp,Yogafit, and Silver and Fit and is graduate of the Penn State Fitness Instructor Program. Corinna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Geography from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. By day she works at the Applied Research Lab, and lives in State College with her husband and four rescue pugs. Corinna enjoys spending time with her dogs, gardening, riding her bike and hiking, and beach vacations.

Leila began teaching group exercise as a hobby in graduate school and continued it when she moved to State College in 2008 for her job at Penn State. As an AFAA certified group exercise and Spinning® instructor, Leila has training and experience teaching many group fitness formats. When she is not at work or the gym, Leila is spending time with her husband and children, cooking, attending community events, enjoying the outdoors, or dreaming about traveling.

Brendan is a local yoga teacher here in State College. He has been practicing since first discovering yoga at Penn State while fulfilling his physical education requirement. Brendan experienced improvements for himself physically as his strength and flexibility increased with each class. He also noticed how yoga practice helped keep him calm in stressful situations and allowed him cultivate a more positive mindset. Brendan returned to his hometown of Philadelphia, PA and completed his 200-hour yoga teaching certification in the spring of 2015. He has been instructing group classes and individual clients in yoga ever since. Having moved back to State College this year, Brendan loves teaching yoga at East Coast Health & Fitness. Brendan teaches in the vinyasa flow style of yoga and is heavily influenced by his teachers from the “yoga stream” community, which focuses on functional movement and cultivating yoga practices that serve our every day lives while making anatomical sense. When he is not teaching or practicing yoga, Brendan enjoys exploring the many hiking trails of Centre Country with his girlfriend, Allie, and their two dogs.

Stacy has taught group fitness since college when she took a step aerobics class and was hooked! Stacy has taught several group fitness classes over the years including  kickboxing, weightlifting and HIIT/Tabata. During the day she still makes health a priority at her job as a mammographer. Stacy lives in State College with her son( when he is not attending PITT), daughter, and two mini-schnauzers. Stacy’s fitness passion is weightlifting so you will see that combined with step aerobics in her new class Step and Strength.
